The local currency opened at N785.00 per $1 at the parallel market otherwise known as the black market, today, 29 October 2022, in Lagos Nigeria after it closed at N768.00 per $1 the previous day, 28 October 2022. This represents a change of N17 from the previous day.

NEWSEDGE NIGERIA reports that in the black market, the players buy a dollar for N780 and sell for N785 on Saturday, 29 October 2022, after they purchased N765 and sold for N768 on Friday, 28 October 2022.

Meanwhile, NewsEdge Nigeria reports that the USD started this week at ₦760 in Parallel Market also known as Black Market on Monday, October 24, 2022, in Lagos Nigeria, after it opened at ₦745 last week Monday, October 17, 2022.
