Three Dead As Train Collides With Bus In Lagos

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority through its Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Adebayo Taofiq, has confirmed that three persons died in the train-BRT bus crash that happened at Shogunle on Thursday morning.

NewsEdge reports that about 84 passengers in the BRT bus used for conveying staff of the Lagos State Government, were injured after the passenger train crushed the bus in PWD area.

The bus, it was reported, was crossing the rail track, while the train was close by. The magnet on the train was said to have grabbed the bus from PWD to Shogunle where it stopped.

The incident happened around past 7am on Thursday.
