2023 Elections: INEC Postpones Collation Of Results

The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakuku has postponed the collation of results till Monday.

The collation of results will resume at 11 am. This followed the inability of most states to conclude their voting exercises and submit their collated results.

However, Ekiti State result has been announced by the Returning Officer, Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila Orangun, Osun State, Professor Akeem Lasisi.

He said only two Wards had cancellations of their results due to bypassing of BVAS and over voting.

Results presented by INEC REC for Ekiti state Professor Abayomi Salami.

It reads, “A- 69, AA- 29, AAC- 108, ADC- 1337, ADP- 737, APC- 201, 494, APGA- 268, APM- 46, APP- 91, BP-46, LP- 11,397, NNPP- 264, NRM- 131, PDP- 89, 554, PRP- 48, SDP- 2011, YPP- 81, ZLP- 460.”
