Buhari Displays Ballot Paper, Breaks INEC Rule

President Muhammadu Buhari has created a controversy by displaying his ballot paper and showing whom he voted for in the 2023 general election.

Buhari did this after he voted in his polling unit in Daura, Katsina.

This contradicted voting rules by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The rule is that it is a secret ballot. A voter is simply to make their choice on secret and drop the marked ballot paper in the ballot box.
