There is a CBN N500M grant which was introduced by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as a response to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

To be eligible for the CBN N500M grant, applicants should be a Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and must meet certain requirements, which may include:

The applicant must be a registered and verifiable Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as defined by the CBN.

The applicant must have a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN).

The applicant should not be a public company and should not be owned by any Federal, State or Local Government.

The applicant should not have been convicted of any financial crime in the last 10 years

The applicant should be operating within the approved sectors by the CBN.

The applicant should be able to present a clear business plan and have their account domicile with any Nigerian deposit money bank.

It’s important to note that the grant program is still in progress and some changes may happen, or the program may not be available in all the states, thus it is best to check with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and relevant authorities for the current status of the program.
